Kauai Hawaii CondosKauai vacation condos and condo sales Comments Off January 23rd, 2010 Why I Like Cooking FishFish cooking has never been my favorite thing to do. It’s probably because I don’t have any easy fish recipe. I have attempted to bake fish, with the lid on or lid off but it isn’t the same as the fish recipe. I recently created a new recipe; you simply use some white fish and bake it with Stouffers Creamed Spinach. You cook the spinach in the pouch in water, when it is done you open the pouch and pour the mixture on the fish and bake at 400 degrees until the fish is flaky. Everyone likes baked fish with a little color and then it isn’t bland. I would like to get more fish into my diet. grilled fish Recipe Ingredients: 600 gm fillet of Pomfret Fish 1 Lemon For marinade: 50 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2 tbsp Lemon Juice 1 pod Garlic (minced) A few sprigs of Rosemary or Oregano Salt and pepper to season How to make Grilled Fish: For the marinade, mix all the ingredients though roughly in a mixing bowl and give it a good whisk. Put the cleaned fish fillet into the marinade, being certain that it is coated well. Then wait 45 to 60 minutes, use a medium flame to grill the fish in a non-stick pan. Allow 2-3 minutes for each side, depending on the thickness of the fillet. Grilled fish is ready . Serve it with a squeeze of lemon and a big salad. The best salmon recipes tend to include lemon juice. Acidic juice, paprika, dill, basil, salt and pepper work well for the natural flavor of the fish. Make sure you advise your diners about bones! No one wants a surprise stuck in their throat. Even if you find a recipe that recommends sauteing, your best bet for a healthy meal is going to be baking your salmon. Baking or grilling is a best substitute for frying or sautering in order to cut down on the fats. Enjoy and bon appetite!
