Digital vs Traditional: Different Ways to Look Perfect – Boot Camp

Many of us generally fight to appear perfect, and it is actually not surprising the reason why: perfection, as it is said, is impossible to reach. Yet, even if we’re well aware of this, we all carry on and pursue our quest of looking as gorgeous as possible.

A primary reason behind this irrational fight might come from the impact that advertising has on most of us. Equalities Minister Lynne Featherstone, of the Liberal Democrat Party, recently suggested that airbrushed pictures of skinny models appearing on magazine issues could be responsible for making lots of customers feel unhappy with and also stressed about how they look, and eventually leading them to desperate diet regimes or impossible work out sessions.

Ms Featherstone is adament that the fact that even pictures of professional models already looking flawless and gorgeous are being digitally enhanced to produce more fantasies as well as aspirations is evidence that advertisers, along with the fashion industry, are misleading people. Ads should not, as per the Advertising Standards Authority in Britain, promote images or items that turn out to be different in reality. Airbrushed pictures of skinny models, who eventually become role models to imitate for a large number of readers, are just a way of generating futile and unneeded desires amongst consumers. The Minister intends to impose placing a warning label on digitally improved ads in the future, to ensure people know the god or goddess of flawlessness they are admiring is not, in fact, a real person.

Like mentioned before, perfection is unachievable. However with programmes like bootcamp, you can be certain to reach excellent results and also learn all about a healthy lifestyle!
