not sure when you are going but there are a few hotels in that range that i found. we stayed at the kauai marriott resort and beach club for $289 and loved it (great pool). we visited many other hotels just to check them out too. you could also check out the hilton kauai beach resort and sheraton kauai resort. to cut through the deals, you should check out to book your stay. the site is an aggregator which means it takes offers from various online sites and shows you the best deals. good luck!

Tourism is major income for Hawaii, so hotel is very expensive, but you can rent a vacation home for $1000 per week. You can get 3.5-star hotel in Lihue - Kapaa for $150, but you want to quiet, pool with waterfall for two people only, you are expect to pay $500 per night.

There is condotels everywhere. Try the Hanalei Bay Resort, on the north shore Kauai. Here in Maui, go to ResortQuest.com, and you will find a bunch of them. Aloha…..
